- Hnausa, located on Breida Bay in Lake Winnipeg, was first settled in 1876. It was part of the "Icelandic Reserve" and played an important role in the settlement of the area. "Hnausa Reflections" is a 720 page book covering the rich history of the district and its families, complete with over 1000 photographs.
